Concerns may include: trying to quit smoking/using tobacco/vaping, strategies to quit, managing addiction, smoking-related health issues, risks of smoking/tobacco use/vaping or university policies related to usage.
The Student Counseling Center (SCC) strives to facilitate the total development of students by reducing psychological problems and distress by enhancing mental health, well-being, quality of life, and supporting your aspirations. Our primary focus is on providing brief, confidential counseling aimed at helping students to succeed academically and interpersonally. When students require mental health services that are beyond the role or scope of the SCC, we will make appropriate referrals to campus and community resources.
