University withdrawal
Concerns may include: questioning whether you should continue with the semester or take time off instead, wondering if you are in the right major or classes, questions about what it means to take some time off and what forms you need to complete.
To complete a university withdraw, you can access the "Withdraw from SRU" form on your MySRU portal under the Academics > Academic Support Tools Tab.

Success Coaching and Peer Academic Coaching
The mission of the SRU Success Coaching Program is to empower students to discover, reflect, and grow, becoming lifelong, courageous learners. We provide one-on-one coaching, group coaching, and a plethora of strategies, tools, and resources to students who seek growth/development in the following areas:
• Assessing and improving academic habits
• Developing effective learning/studying strategies
• Exploring academic motivation and/or interest in coursework
• Transitioning smoothly to college academic environment
• Balancing commitments, time management, and prioritization
• Identifying and coping with academic stress
• Setting and making progress on academic and professional goals
• Reaching academic progress benchmarks and/or planning and accountability with improving grades

Student Support
Student Support at SRU is part of Student Affairs and acts as a central location where faculty, staff, students, parents or community members can refer a student experiencing or causing distress that interferes with learning, development and success. Student Support uses a model focused on the holistic development of the student to assist when they encounter challenges, barriers, and crises that impact their ability to be successful and safe by setting goals and connecting to the appropriate resources.
In Student Support we focus on enhancing student learning and development through one-on-one case management, Boost peer programming, behavioral intervention, and critical incident response. Students, faculty, and staff members can submit a Care referral for a variety of concerns serving as barriers to a student’s ablity to excel in the classroom and in their social environments.

Readmission
Whether you just recently attended SRU or have been gone for a while, we look forward to assisting you once again in meeting your personal and professional goals as you progress towards degree completion. Readmission to the university will be based on your academic performance at SRU and all additional coursework completed at other institutions and military experience, since your departure.
If you recently decided to withdraw from SRU, but plan to return in the future after attending another institution, we can help with selecting coursework to ensure its transferability back to SRU. Details about our transfer credit evaluation policies and graduation requirements can be found at https://www.sru.edu/admissions/transfer-and-military-admissions/transfer-credit-evaluation.
Our goal is to make sure you have a seamless plan toward graduation. Careful planning is key to meeting degree requirements and staying eligible for financial aid. Questions can be sent to transferadmissions@sru.edu.
